The Scrolling Stationery Tutorial * Just a note*

Has kept me pretty busy ( in my spare time ).... I have had many people write about it . Thanking me and some for a bit of help- which I do not mind at all ..... I love hearing from you all. I will let you know when the re-vamping is complete ... its very close to being totally done. It is more in depth... step by step.... and anyone that creates Incredimail "letters" can do it... so when I give te notice that it is up and done..... take a peek ... It is lengthy , but as I said, step by step -which made it lengthier.
I can not believe how far that tutorial has reached already . Yay! I am so glad you all like it. ( I do think you will like the re-vamped one better though- its stretched across several pages and not all up and down on one-where it gets a bit confusing.
So- just a note that I'm still here, just busy busy.
Hoping everyone is doing well. I shall soon have some freebies to post along with a few PTU kits ( but I need more time in a day. LOL )
Hugs,
TammyJo

I sure am having trouble with the flavor file. Where it says Letter in blue....do I put in the name of my folder or the name of my Incredimail letter? Do I put an extension (imf) after the Letter name? Then it says Letter/name of the Incredimail with .imf. Again, I am perplexed what to put where you have Letter in blue. Appreciate any help, and thank you so much for taking time to write a tutorial for those of us who cannot learn any other way!!!

Hello, in response to your question regarding the flavor file. Example below: Where it says " Letter" , Leave it as "Letter" if your stat is going to be in the category of "Letter" instead of another category.

Then see also in blue text, where it says Letter\SW-feel_the_warmth.imf you should place the category , which is Letter in my case - and the backslash and then the name of your stationery with.imf extension.

Feel free to e-mail me for any help ... msmoondancer@gmail.com or immoondancer@gmail.com

I will be glad to help in any way I can.

Hugs,
TammyJo

Hi TammyJo;

I love this tutorial but I am having the hardest time with it. I can get the letter to show up in my style box but when I click on it the darn thing won't open. What am I doing wrong?

Gonna give it another go but in the meantime help would sure be appreciated.

You rock!

Hi Sharon,

Glad you love the tutorial :-) but am sorry to hear you are having a hard time with it. I have had others write with this very same problem- most of the time it was that there was either an extra file in the folder that doesn't belong in there and/or just a matter of code being missing or an extension missing. If you want to send me your files and flavor -feel free to and I'll take a peek at it and give you a hand. E-mail address msmoondancer@gmail.com .

Don't give up- You will be creating several in no time.

Hugs, TammyJo

Hello Tammy Jo, I don't know if you remember me or not. Jules (Julie at http://faerycharm.com ) anyway, I'm back again looking at your tut. *giggles* I think I want to start off simple by learning the steps to edit the letter's xhtml.

Your site looks fabulous btw ;)

Wishing you wellness and happiness, Jules
